I could not help myself, and HAD to add more essentials because, please, the list goes on and on when fashion is limitless! I thought I might elaborate a bit on some styles as well as add a few! Enjoy!

  1. Chambray, which is basically just a fancy fashion term for a denim button up shirt. They are a must have!! I personally own two different denim shades and wear them constantly. They can be paired with just about any color you put on the bottom and work with skirts, under sweaters, over shirts, tucked in or buttoned all the way up and are great for layering! On the other hand, I don’t recommend you wear them with jean pants, or else you will risk the ” Texas Tuxedo” look which may be a little too much denim to handle all at once.
  2. Not just any vests this time, fur vests!!  These have stuck around for much longer than most probably thought they were going to, but wow are they a big hit.  You can go for a white fur or brown fur but either way, paired over a simple outfit with subtle colors, can make a big fashion statement. Colors such as black, tan, burnt orange, red, emerald green and navy all look great under a fur vest. Make sure you wear long or quarter sleeve shirts though, which looks classier and simply pair it with some jeans and boots. Button ups and chambray also look great under it! Go for it, be daring!
  3. Puffer Jackets are warm, weather proof and perfect for those cold winter days! Plus, they are cuter than ever this season which means you no longer have to worry about looking like a giant marshmallow! I personally recommend you get it in a darker color and stray away from white because there are so many great colors out there, such as the examples above. Wear an infinite scarf, or bold print like leopard to play it up and give it some personality and color. Leggings under it with boots are a great option and you can get away with wearing any sort of sweater under the puffer jacket. However, if you go for a printed scarf keep the sweater print free or a simple print so it isn’t too busy.
  4. Leather leggings, no need to be worried, they are actually a great alternative to the normal legging. Why you ask? Well, they look dresser, nicer and will keep you warmer than most leggings. You can wear them with boots or flats, and just about anything on top that you would wear with regular leggings, but the best part about leather leggings is that they can be dressed up by wearing heels at night, bold jewelry, a beaded shirt, or a nice blazer. They are just a bit edgier and there is nothing wrong with that!
